Alcatel C701 is really a classic phone having easy user interface, powerful music player, and good battery life. Some users may demand for better camera but I will say that it is the best deal in its price range.

I feel the display is many times not legible in sun & it really creates a problem. The screen used in this is very weak. Did the to keep the price? Hence they decided on a low end screen? But at what cost? The cost of quality, if so then it is really disgusting!!

How to install cable driver on this? I tried a lot even as per instruction manual but it gives one or other error. Alas I don’t have an authrised Alcatel point near my place. Pls. Help as I don’t to want to bugger up my sweety (701) by trying some random things.
