I am having W580 approx. 5 months now. I really like my phone. Though this model is a part of Walkman series phone, the camera of this phone takes nice snaps.
So buy it…I assure you quality and great functioning by W580!

I m using this from two months with lots of fun... I am using one GB memory card with my W580. I was using W550i before this, but there is no card slot in that mobile so I replaced it. The Walkman 2.0 music player, with music recognition is one of the best features in this mobile. The video quality is good and any one except photographers can use it. The battery backup time is not good but because all the good features anyone can ignore this problem. My family members too liked this phone too much. I think there are three to four color shades in this phone out of which I have two white and the black. Weekly change of body makes my phone more attractive. I will like to thank to S.E. team for this phone.

Guys,
You want to buy a Walkman, which has a phone also? Go for this
one, u will be fully satisfied. But if one wants principally a phone
with Walkman as one of the features then forget it, this one is not for
you & me also. Poor reception, no good looks, no good battery life,
camera just for the sake of it, but yes definitely a good walkman,
music freaks & orange colour lovers can go in for it.

Hey Sony Ericsson,

Will u ever think of offering a photo phonebook
option? Or u at se never heard of it? All others have already added as
a standard feature in their phones. Looks u all think at se that
Walkman phones are going take u to MOUNT EVEREST!! No way, come out of

I got this phone just a week back & really amazing phone. It
has got everything I wanted a phone to have, yes though no 3G. But one
can’t have a cake & eat it too. Good creation by sony ericsson.

Hard

I read many people saying the keypad cracks of this one also too soon
just like the s500. I have experienced it with s500 & they won’t
accept that. It will be always ur mistake, if so I don’t want to go in
for it. Can any one tell me their actual experiences or I find the
features quite impressive. But BTW sony why always the same complaints
repeating?

This one is available in S’pore who says is yet to come? I already have
one. But now I repent. I got it as I am SE fan but this time it was a
mistake in buying 580. Though a dedicated SE user I am really very
disappointed with this one, the thing all-plastic!!

I bought it & within two days 3 buttons fell off. Actually I bought
it by the looks & was my biggest mistake. I am getting it replaced
but I shall be keeping it as a showpiece, may be my grandchildren will
fetch a good price for it as an antique piece. Oh, no sony, horrible
phone!!!

The keys keep on breaking like the ones in earlier models. And
nothing special to write about. The same thing in one of those common
Se Walkman phones, too boring!

I think Sony Ericsson nowadays doesn’t want to launch any thing except
the Walkman phone. Go & just keep listening music with it, while others run ahead of you. Seems they have forgotten that
there are customers across the globe wanting something else than a
Walkman phone!

sony. Go & dip all ur phones in this colour & again declare
bankrupts! What nonsense? The nature has made so many spicy &
attractive & also soothing colours but these guys are stuck to only
one!

This phone has been announced in March 2007 and still its not out.. few
phones which are announced in May are already available in the market..
