Hey friends, how is the signal quality on this phone? I bought it about a month back & it’s big problem for me. You all also facing the same problem? It’s the only annoying thing about this phone!

Nice phone, also the click wheel functions are just excellently thought off. But when I open it, it becomes too ling & the width is lo less, really a problem. I had a tough time till I got used to that tiny narrow keypad!

Audio quality is just too good & with 1GB internal memory I can store all my favorite songs. The phone is sleek & I am very happy with it. I feel it’s an unique design.

Have had this phone for around 5-6 months and am reasonably pleased. Chose the handset for the style as i probally am a bit of a flash git, so thought he outlandish design would be great for me. The main purpose of the handset is to store music as there is a 1GB memory on board, but could not synch it with my PC. Got my sister to have a look who has a e900 and has connected that to our PC but she could not get it to work either. Now i know that it is probally something i am doing wrong , but they have not made it easy. The lack of a loudspeaker is quite annoying and i cant understand why they didnt include it. The camera is preety crap and the lens is positioned in the worst position in the world. Positvely the battery life is not too bad, call quality is good and i have not encoutered any software problems (am tmpting fate right now, arent i ?) Anyone who wants a small light phone and only usess the basic feattures will not be dissatsfieed with X830.

Gloria this is not a bad handset for business but not the best. Totaly depends on what u wanna do. Just calling then the handset could be fine, but battery life is average and as long as u dont mind charging everyday will sufice. Txting is a bit awkward and emailing and web is not really what this handst is about. I rckon that u should get a Nokia 6233 or 6300 both should be good for what u wanna do. But again just for calling should be fine. Hope this helped

Kinda disagree with Andy. The phone does have some durability when not in an open state as i have dropped mine a few times and hasnt broke. But i do think that when it is open it could break if it takes a heavy knock.

Hmmmmmm. I am in two minds about this handset to be honest and have had mine for around 6 months. So i have decided to list a few pros and cons for anyone considering buying.Hope this helps.

Pros=Very light, gains a lot of attention through small swivel design, Pretty simple to use and good build quality.

Cons=No loudspeaker, texting is slower due to keypad design, camera is located in a bad positon.

Hey I have a habit of hanging the phone around my neck & I feel the light wt. of this one (x830) really gives me comfort. Real slim one with a swivel design. The internal memory is quite high, no prob. of forgetting the add on memory cards. I am a person who is always on the move & the flight mode also comes very handy. The screen is little small. Also Samsung should have packed it with a better sound quality, not really a feature for a person like me; as I hardly listen to MP3 but it would have put this phone in much higher slot. Why Samsung has not kept hands free as a standard option, when selling such a high end phone?

It is slim with very good memory but people with fat fingers will not be able to use the keypad easily!! Also Camera is average!! Think b4 you buy!!

The Samsung x830 is too good phone in terms of features, the only thing I want Samsung to improve is speaker volume, enhance it guys.

Samsung SGH X830: I just love this phone as it is dashing and excellent. It looks sweet in pink. Music player is a bit low but memory is quite large 1 GB.
