A new touch phone will finally be released by the Finns, Nokia Tube. This device runs on the latest Nokia 5th generation S60 full Touch UI and is the first phone of a brand new handset lineup. In future any touch pad models released will bare the Tube mark.
It has a 16 M TFT display and 360x640 pixels resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. The initial size of the display is somewhere between 3 and 3.5 inches. It will also feature a stylus imput as well as an option for using hand-writing.
The new Tube model comes with a sporting quad-band GPRS/EDGE/UMTS and HSDPa with uPnP support, it has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP and AVRCP support. In addition users will fing a built-in GPS with A-GPS and geotagging support.
Rumours say there will also be a built-in camera, but he megapixel count is unknown. The markets will present buyers this new Nokia touch pad model in the beginning of 2009. There’s time to wait, and time to gather funds to buy it.
