New technology has been developed in Austin; their new software downloadable on mobile phones can translate Spanish to English with no real problems.

This software is mainly designed for people who cannot interact in English when health or job issues appear. Edigo, an Edioma elaborated software, can easily be downloaded to mobile phones to help people establishing a basic conversation with their doctors or bank employees.

According to MSNBC, the user can read a few situations in which this software gets handy. He will scroll down and select a suitable situation, then find something close to what he need or even the complete phrase and then push select. The phone will start speaking in English for him.

This is just the beginning. Future mobile phones may translate without pressing any buttons, a user will be able to talk to the phone and it will translate.
