T-Mobile beat arch rivals AT&T as they become the first carrier in the US to launch the customized version of Samsung Galaxy S. The US carrier has just made an official announcement on their Twitter account, preponing its release of Samsung Vibrant on July 15 instead of the earlier decided date of July 21.
T-Mobile supposedly wanted their release to hit the racks before AT&T's Samsung Captivate, scheduled to be released on July 18. T-Mobile's announcement will definitely pay off, should it be in a T-Mobile store on Thursday.
Other than its design makeover and a support for T-Mobile 3G band, the Samsung Vibrant specfications and features will remain the same as its European cousin Samsung i9000 Galaxy S.
Coming Thursday, US customers will be able to access the Samsung Vibrant for $199.99 with a qualifying voice and data plan on a new two-year agreement.
