The Finns have recently released a new phone that comes with some original features.

The new N79 Active comes with a Polar-branded heart-rate belt, which sends your vital stats via Bluetooth to the phone. It seems the handset is aimed at people who are involved in sports or who are health conscious.

The handset also has Assisted GPS that will enable you to pre-determine your jogging routs. Additionally you can take quality pictures as the handset is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera.

The N79 Active comes with an interesting application called Sports Tracker that will record and manage your running routs and fitness stats. Additionally it keeps track of the songs you listen too, besides the information on your running speed, lengths and everything adjacent.

Anyway, the phone is available for about $494, and it comes with HSDPA support and Wi-Fi connectivity. To complete this remarkable phone is a 4GB microSD memory card. The handset is quite expensive but at least it has features that are worth their money.
