Recently, Sony Ericsson has announced that it was appointed to create the official Mobile Phone of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. All soccer lovers will now have a themed handset that will vividly express their enthusiasm.

With this step, Sony Ericsson will become one of the mains sponsors of FIFA World Cup. This means a lot of ads.

Sony Ericsson has not offered any details regarding the new themed handset but we hope that its design will at least feature FIFA’s mascot – maybe a goalkeeper. Anyway the handset will probably have huge success when the tournament comes.

There is no rush, however, the tournament will be in the summer of 2010 and Sony Ericsson didn’t announce any information regarding the phone’s features.
