HTC has released in November 2009 a beautiful and powerful handset, the HTC HD2. The handset comes with some incredible features and a fast processor that offers the possibility to go beyond the usual mobile gaming experience.
The handset comes with a 4.3 inches TFT touchscreen with 65K colors capable of offering a 480 x 800 pixels. It also comes with WiFi, HSDPA, HSUPA connectivity support and internal memory of 448 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM. It also comes with a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and dual LED flash.
But the most impressive thing about this phone is its Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor. Mobile gaming experience can now be completely changed as MSmobiles reports that the HTC HD2 is capable of emulating Sony Playstation games made for the regular console and not for PSP.
Running PS games one may need an emulator. FPSEce is a Playstation emulator for Windows mobile handsets. According to information posted by MSmobiles, the name means First PlayStation Emulator for Windows CE (Windows mobile).
In order to play Playstation games on a Windows Mobile handset the user needs free space on the storage card, a fast CPU and plenty of memory. It seems that the HTC HD2 offers enough of everything, a 1GB processor and 448 MB RAM.
The user also needs the emulator FPSEce,(download here) PocketISO to compress images if necessary, an image of a Playstation game and a Playstation-BIOS for use with FPSEce.
