Phones 4u will be offering the Android handset for free from a £35 per month on a 24 month contract. The contract includes 600 minutes and unlimited text as well as 1GB data and WiFi.
Russell Braterman, Phones 4u marketing director said: “As a leading UK mobile retailer we are continuing to seek the best handsets and mobile packages to offer our customers.” The phone comes, indeed, with some interesting features.
The Nexus One comes with a 3.7 inch widescrean WVGA AMOLED touchscreen and offers 800 x 480 pixels resolution. In addition, it incorporates a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, 2x digital zoom, LED flash. The handset is running Android 2.1 OS and is powered by a Qualcomm QSD 8259 1GHz processor. The Nexus One comes with 512 MB of internal memory and 512 MB RAM and a microSD card slot for additional memory space, expandable up to 32 GB.

Phones 4u will sell the Nexus One on Vodafone starting with May 7.
