The World’s leading mobile phone manufacturer announced a new release, Nokia 6212 classic upgraded with Near Field Communication (NFC). With less buttons to press users will be able to access services, get imperious information, share content and conduct payments and ticketing, informs a recent Nokia press release.

This phone permits customers to personalize their NFC tags, setting alarms or updating calendar. It also can be used as a travel ticket for mobile payments.

Nokia 6212 classic comes with a 2 mega pixel camera, bright 2 inch QVGA display, stereo FM, and optional memory card up to 4G.

"NFC-capable handsets such as the Nokia 6212 classic are set to change the way mobile phone users interact with devices and services in their surroundings," says Jeremy Belostock, the Head of Near Field Communications, Nokia. "With the Nokia 6212 classic, people can swap items like business cards or calendar notes by simply tapping their handsets together. With ever-increasing device functions and services available, ease-of-use is essential. One way to keep things simple is NFC”, as cited from the mentioned press release.

Mainly NFC means that you will be able to pay for a bus ticket, pay taxes or shop and pay with your mobile phone. In addition NFC can be used to transfer information between two devices, so sharing will be less complicated.
