The Swedish handset designer and manufacturer has recently announced the new Neonode N2 touchscreen phone. Neonode comes with an interesting design, which is probably more than original and with a few equally interesting features as well. To this the developer added a fair price.
The Neonode N2 is probably the smallest and lightest touchscreens out there. It weights only 60 grams and measures 77 x 47 x 14.7 mm. In addition it has some good features and a futuristic design.
The handset comes with a 2 inch TFT touchscreen display with 65K colors and 176 x 220 pixels. The display is quit large since the handset is as small as mentioned above. For the multimedia part, Neonode equipped the N2 with a 2 megapixel camera. Now you can take images with a 60 grams device.
Neonode N2 comes with a user friendly interface facilitating the use of its menu. A 1GB miniSD card is available which offers plenty of space. To this we can find Bluetooth and MMS capabilities, integrated web browser and media player.
The Neonode N2 was actually released at the end of 2007, but now people can buy it through the “Friends and Family campaign” for about $199. Even more, they can get a 50 per cent discount on any accessory available online on Neonode’s shop.
