The New Year has brought in some good news for Nokia N900 / Nokia N810 users with the release of Firefox RC1. Also known as, Mozilla Fennec, the beta version was available for N900 users from early December but many have stayed away from it due to stability issues.

However, the new RC1 version of the Firefox for Maemo comes with more than a few improvements, including enhanced text rendering and a list of fixes for N900 specific bugs.

The Firefox browser includes some amazing features like Smart URL bar, password manager, bookmarking, integrated search bar and add-ons manager.

Firefox RC1 can be downloaded via Mozilla official website. An update will be available soon for existing beta version users.
