Motorola has just launched a program in order to enable application development for Motorola mobile phones. The company has launched an Android development resources through Motodev, which includes a new App Accelerator Program and Motodev Studio for Android Beta.
Additionally, Motodev offers developers access to a new suite of Google Android developer tools and programs. According to CBR Online, the program is intended to the development of applications to be used on Motorola’s mobile devices using the Android OS.
The same publication informs that the program offers developers a wide rage of support when developing software. Developers will get access to tools, technical specifications, documentation and other development support resources. In addition, they will receive pre-release access to upcoming Motorola devices for testing and debugging, direct access to Motorola’s developer support engineers through private discussion boards and market exposure for applications.
In the near future, Motorola will offer design and development tools, handset emulators and virtual testing labs, intuitive interfaces for deploying application, app creation wizards and frequently used code templates.
