Morph - The Future Today Richard Seynfield | , 12:55 बजे March 29, 2008 2008-03-29

Ever worried about sticky fingers while wanting to use your handheld 's touchscreen display?

According to Nokia not for much longer! Together with the University of Cambridge, their Research Center announced 'Morph' - a concept device currently being displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The Morph is part of the 'Design and Elastic Mind' campaign and explores how different object designs affect us and how we may interact with them.

The Nokia Morph in it's concept stage allows the user to drastically manipulate its form using flexible materials, and transparent electronics - making it possible to either wear as a bracelet, watch, necklace and assumedly plenty other utilizable objects that you may think off.
And apart from it's magnificent chameleon like appearance and many a super-sci-fi-abilities (which can all be marveled at in their 6 minutes clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IX-gTobCJHs ), it would also possess the feature to clean itself from bacteria. One of several super-hydrophobic devices already making their way into mobile handsets around the world.

But for those wanting to see the future today, visit the MoMA where the 'Design and Elastic Mind' campaign will remain open for display till May 12, 2008.
