LG has announced the launch of the LG GW520 and LG Gt505 in the UK. Both phones come with push updates from social networking sites and emails. The phones are the first LG handsets to offer push social networking updates. The feature allows users to receive alerts from multiple social network sites as they are posted.
Additionally, users can use the feature to update their own statuses, personal pages or photos. Both handsets support push email for personal accounts and have Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync for business accounts. Let’s see now what the new phones have to offer.
The LG GW520 was forged especially for messaging via social networks, email or SMS and IM. It includes LG’s LiveSquare feature enabling users to prioritize contacts letting you see those friends that you talk to most often appearing as an animated character on the homescreen. This enables quick and easy access to a contact.
The LG GW520 comes with a 2.8 inch full tounchscreen display. It also sports a full slide-out QWERTY keypad, push email via Microsoft Exchange ActiveSyng, HSPDA 7.2, 3G, WAP 2.0 browser and a 3 megapixel camera.
