The latest Android based mobile phone from the Taiwanese company HTC will become available in the UK through T-Mobile and under the name of the G2 Touch. The handset has landed in the UK as a custom model and therefore the custom name, as Softpedia writes.
The T-Mobile G2 Touch comes with a 3.2 inch touchscreen display capable of offering 320 x 480 pixel resolution and the new Sense UI system. Additionally, the handset sports 3G HSPA, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities.
The phone also comes with built-in GPS receiver and a 5.0 megapixel camera with auto-focus. The handset also comes with a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space.
The T-Mobile G2 Touch will be available for free upon signing a new 18 month contract agreement with a minimum plan of 40 pounds per month. Orange has also announced plans to offer the HTC Hero for free with a new two year contract.
