CGC unveils gold-plated Nokia phone in Qatar

Hey! your news is saying "Equipped with 18 carat gold plating and genuine white leather padding"..but the image is more alike "Sapphire arte" than "Gold Arte". anyways ; Qatar is more of a business province in the Arab emirates, probably because of its oil reserves. So such high-profile phones will have a better market in such destinations where all the money is clubbed together by the richie richs. Also Mid East people have unknown fascination for gold..so maybe Nokia took note of this point and introduced this model in Qatar

Nokia 8800 Gold Arte is really going to make a difference the way people live and interact. What I feel is, is there really any need of 18 carat gold plating & that too in a phone??? This gadget is going to woo the rich tycoons & definitely not those who look for mere utility. Infact the device is only going to be a showpiece for the Monarchs, Kings, Sultans of the emirates & the page 3 people indeed!!!
