The new smartphone can be pre-ordered in the UK directly from Vodafone. The company also said that if you order on October 21 you will get the handset on October 26th.
Customers can opt for a £35 per month contract which comes with 600 minutes and unlimited texts. In addition, the BlackBerry Storm2 will be free.
The handset runs on the Enhanced BlackBerry OS 5, flexible storage, 256 flash memory and an expandable microSD/SDHD memory card lot. The handset comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera with variable zoom, autofocus, flash and video recording abilities.
New SurePress technology based on an electronic suspension system provides the user with tactile feedback when the touchscreen is pressed. The handset comes with fast performance WiFi capability.
The phone seems to bee a pretty good deal. It is even thinner, sleeker and has cleaner lines that its predecessor, the BlackBerry Storm 9500 and Vodafone’s offer is great as you can get the phone for free.
