Sprint is going to release a new Research in Motion handset, the BlackBerry Bold 9650. The phone comes with an interesting price tag especially for users who opt for a new 2 year contract agreement.
The BlackBerry Bold 9650 comes to Sprint with high resolution 480 x 360 pixel TFT LCD display and incorporates a 3.2 megapixel camera with 2x digital zoom, flash and video recording capabilities.
The handset comes with Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi, GPS, trackpad, a 3.5 mm headphone jack. In addition the phone supports quad-band GSM/ GPRS/ EDGE connectivity. The Bold 9650 offers up to 5 hours talktime and 312 hours in stand by mode.
The phone is available at Sprint for the full price of $499.99 with no contract agreement. However, with a new 2 year contract or an “eligible upgrade” users can get the handset for $199.99.
