Android aims business users V.J. | , 5:19 बजे Aug. 4, 2009 2009-08-04

Reports indicate that Google will include support for business users in its Android operating system by the end of this year. The move is a response to competitor Research in Motion.

According to a Reuters report, Google will be expanding consumer features like social networking and gaming, but in the same time it will also focus on businesses by giving the opportunity for employees to work on the road.

"Today, we don't support many enterprise applications but in the future, I think enterprise will be a good focus for us," Andy Rubin, vice president of engineering at Google, told Reuters.

Rubin explained that corporations could cut costs on hardware for data storage if they give workers Android phones that support business applications connected to Google’s data center. Additionally, IT managers could have control of the phones their employees use.
