it quite a heavy phone..but the good part is that doesn’t have a external antennae. I have seen similar designed phones with antennae’s, which look like bunny rabbits.

i have seen the moto v191 handset as my friends have it and I feel that the grey color looks much better than the blue one.. it worth only one look..don’t go and buy it..it 2008 man! This is an old piece

I am posting this opinion quite late, because I have this phone for abt a year..when I bought this phone..i thought it supported a quad band network.. but when I actually read the manual..it supported only 850, 1800 and 1900 frequencies and not 900..i had brought this when I was on a vacation in Trinidad..

this moto phone, according to me is the most durable handset I have ever owned. It doesn’t feature much..neither does it have too much of memory space, but the best thing that I have liked about this phone is that it gives the most amazing talk time ever..sometimes I don’t even recharge it for 3-4 days..believe me!

I have a moto v191..but the SMS facility is not working..if try to go by the manual, acc. to which I should select the menu option..but I can’t find the menu option on my phone..is there by any chance, that anyone else has faced this difficulty and could help me

The best phone I have ever come across. But I have only one problem and that is to do with the memory of the handset. I find it not sufficient enough to fit all my data inside it.
Still I love V191.

My all friends know that I am Motorola phone lover. Also, no other company is capable of producing clamshells if you compared them to Motorola clamshells.
The clamshell designed phones manufactured by Motorola fit perfectly in my hand and they fit to my eyes too! Cool phones…keep it up You Motorola people!!

I went to mobile store to buy the black model of this phone and the salesman told me that it comes only in two colours namely blue and silver and I hate those colours. Sorry you all V191 users, I will not be the part of Your 191 user group ;-(

It's really a neat phone, however a BIG problem is the battery life. You pretty much have to carry a charger at all times with this phone. Goes dead with no warning about an hour talk time. After 25 days of use the battery would not even charge and phone was returned.

Hi all,
I read somewhere about the battery life of this phone that it has great battery support with a talktime of 400 minutes i.e. around 7 hrs on a single recharge. But the fact is I have to carry a charger with me all the time, as my phone doesn’t offer me backup for 4 hours also.
