if you want to unlock it with a new sim, you need 8 digit unlock code.
You can purchase 'subsidy unlock code' from an internet with minimal cost.. or search Google for such sites..

I suggest you as well Try to contact with Customer support service I'm sure they are going to help you out,
I always try to contact customer support service and most of time i get issue solved from them whatever issue i do face with my phone.
