Have just inherited a 480i. Sometimes when I phone or send text it will not send or connect even though the signal is strong and visually the phone tells me it is trying.Also incoming calls go straight to message bank. I can solve it by turning off then on.
Any ideas?

Hi Timo, I understand its hard..But here it its

Menu -> Settings -> Phone profiles. select double arrow icon on the right hand to change the profile. from the list select to 'Incoming' for 'Phone Sounds'. Set'Phone sound volume' to 0 using left side buttons. Hope this helps..

Hey Wren,
Just touch the text and directional arrows will appear then you can go to the point with the help of the arrow. No need to delete the typed text :)

I have just bought this phone, no probs with the touchscreen UI but there is one prob with the text messages, you cannot back while texting if you want to correct something you need to delete all the typed stuff till you go to that point.

This touchscreen is somewhat difficult to use. I have had this phone for only two days and then i returned it back to my friend as i could not use the phone. I have used a lot of touchscreen phones before and never had any problems with them.

It is equivalent to a child's toy, it plays music and has got an excellent screen, leave this apart and there is nothing else in it.

Buy it only if you like to use touchscreen phones or else dont even think of buying this one. This phone can only be used by touchscreen lovers others can get fed up while using, especially while texting. Its difficult to text fast if you are not used to the interface. The cam is great.....no doubt with the images snapped out. I have been using this one for the past two weeks and up till now there is no lagging.......so i am happy with it :)
