So simple design…. but high priced phone! It’s a fashion world today and I don’t think that this phone will go hit in the market. Nokia has packed the phone with plenty of features but they have ignored the style. Though it is good at functionality, people are not buying it because of its so simple looks!

Just got the steel black version of E51. By far the best business phone for me. I was using the E50, E61i, N73, and N95. The best features on the E51 are:-
1. Memory Paging - Never runs out of memory on Web Browsing
2. Self programmable Shortcuts keys
3. 369 MHz fastest processor now!!
4. Keypad have very good soft feel.
5. Solid construction
6. Good Battery life
7. Very thin indeed at 12mm
8. Very bright LCD display.
9. Price is cheap too at USD350 (Zitron set. RM1250 in Malaysia)

Where can you buy a made in Finland version of this phone? And how long does a led for missed calls and messages blink? Seems odd for it to be limited, maybe a bug?

Hi this is my 1st time posting here. Just got my e51. It’s absolutely amazing .Guess what I am posting here via my e51.Good phone only downside is the lack of ring tones, videos, and pictures in this phone. Not even games! Guess you got to get them yourselves. Good loudspeaker. Still it beats this phone in terms of sound quality. =)

Battery life seems to be very good. After 34 hrs. Of average use just 1 bar is lost. Remember it’s a 1070 mAh. There is a slight delay in answering a call even after pressing the answer key. You will hear the ring for another fraction of a second.
Sadly pictures have to be taken in portrait & no torch or flash. No games, but u can easily download. After all it’s a business phone.
Slightly higher SAR. Better to use hands free.

Hi, everybody. I can say E51 is suitable for person’s who like easy and smart phone with the newest technology. I have now 4 days using E51 which has very good battery and fast response with nice screen color and its software is similar to N95. Only, its speaker is very low.

Max is the feature, Low is the battery backup. Same condition u all will face with this. The only thing I liked in this mobile is Camera clarity. I jus clicked lots of snaps from ma E51 n they are damn clear. I really liked this n will like to suggest you all that if u ignore battery backup problem then u all can enjoy this a lot.

It is a great BUSINESS phone as it comes with Wi-Fi capability like most of the E-series and 3G. And, nice addition from Nokia regarding FM-Radio as it is included in this case. Usually most of the other E-series mobiles (with perhaps the exception of E90) do not have FM radio.

And, it is great as Business people have needs like the rest of the people!! When on the go, they like to listen to Radio. Plus, the E51 comes in 3 colors: Black, Red and White......

Ok I see a lot of people are considering buying this phone but are a little lost since there hasn’t been a site review. Consider this a mini-review; I have been using the phone for 5 days now.
1) Battery life: AMAZING. 5 days now with regular use wifi, many calls, FM radio for 2-3 hours a day, need for speed and pro evolution soccer 2008 and writing emails. I charged the phone once on day 1 and again on day 4 now its day 5 and my battery is full except for one bar.
2) Music: 2.5 mm headphones only. If you aren’t a huge fan of loud music, the nokia headset provided will be enough. If superior sound quality is important to you, go with a 3.5 mm adapter, use decent headphones and you will see that the sound quality is actually pretty good.
3) Camera: By today’s standards it sucks. If you need a good quality camera DO NOT buy this phone. I like to have a camera in my phone but while 2mp is absolutely fine for me, I know that for many others it is unacceptable.
4) WLAN: Works brilliantly. Just as sensitive as the wifi card on my laptop with the capability to detect pretty weak networks. Web browsing is excellent especially when in landscape mode. I kept font size at the smallest and because of the good resolution it still looks very clear to me. Overall, web browsing on this phone is much better than what I expected.
5) Performance: Hands down, the fastest phone I have ever used. I experimented and ran a football game while listening to FM radio and surfing the internet. I felt no lag whatsoever, even when I switched to the game and left everything else open it ran smoothly. This phone is very efficient.
6) Screen: Incredibly clear, games run very well on it. Should have been at least 0.2 inches longer since there is a lot of wasted place around the screen but we know that if nokia did that they would have priced this phone much higher.
7) Keypad: Excellent for sms, surfing and games. Only problem is that the top two keys on the left and right are way too small and a pain to press but due to the presence of shortcut keys and the comfortable D-pad, I don’t have to use them much.
This phone cost me the equivalent of 219 Euros or 326 US Dollars and came with a 512mb micros card. Honestly, for that amount of money, I can’t think of a better alternative to this phone.

Owning this fone since last 2 months. I think its d best fone I have ever owned. The best is GPRS speed n best is the cam resolution. I have inserted 2GB MMC card in this n enjoying the best service 4m Nokia. Else battery is gud but not for d ppl who r doin job n all dat. As the battery lasts for abt 4 hrs only while talking. So as per ma status I m business man n doin Tp nowJ with internet connected through ma cell. N wud like 2 tell all d guys who r thinking abt purchasing this fone can really enjoy d marvelous experience of Mp3 n all d other functions with this fone. I wud like 2 suggest all tose guys plz purchase this fone itz the best...
