The new Samsung phone will be available in the UK in May. The exact release day is unknown, however, by the end of the month those who want a Tocco Lite will surely be able to purchase one.

The main problem with this phone is that it does not have 3G support. However, the handset comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity support.

The Samsung Tocco Lite comes with a 3 inch TFT touchscreen display with 256K color and 240 x 400 pixels resolution. Additionally, it comes with TouchWiz UI, accelerometer, Bluetooth 2.1, Samsung DNSe 2.0 music technology, FM Radio with RDS.

The handset also incorporates microSD card support up to 8GB as internal memory is only 50MB. Additionally, the handset sports a 3.2 megapixel camera. Internet Social networking is made easy since the Samsung Tocco Lite comes with Facebook, Myspace and YouTube widgets.
