There has been a continuous flux of Samsung releases. All high end equipped with the latest features. The upcoming device has been dubbed the Samsung D980 and it a brand new dual-sim touchscreen handset.

As mentioned the Samsung D980 comes with dual-SIM technology, meaning you can use two SIM cards at the same time. The device also has a tri-band GSM connectivity, 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz). It comes with GPRS and Edge and a 2.6 inch TFT Touchscreen Display with 256K colors and 240 x 320 pixel resolution. The new D980 supports Bluetooth 2.0 has music and video player as well as FM radio.

Web browsing is, of course, supported, the device has splendid web and email capabilities. It comes with Instant Messaging, USB and expandable memory. The device is probably best suited for business users who can use the two SIM cards with in one single phone.

D980 will first be available in China through China Mobile, the world’s largest mobile phones carrier with over 390 million subscribers. In China it will be available under the name of Samsung D988. For Europe an exact launch day is unknown and so is its price, but we can say that the new Samsung handset will be available under the name Samsung D980 DuoS.
