Yes, I am agreed with Philip. The screen looks too delicate so we have to take care of screen. If we don’t clean it regularly, it becomes grubby.

The keypad is excellent and easy for messaging and dialing; only one problem with it is that if the buttons were a little bit raised up it would have been easier.

the shine is neither a music phone because it doesn’t support too many music codecs and does not have too many music highlighters..its neither a camera phone..because its just 2MP..in short its just an average multimedia phone and with so many music and camera phones arriving in 2008, whether it will withstand its position in the market is a big question..

I am happy with my Shine camera resolution..the picture quality is really crisp and clear and when and posted them on my blog everybody was raving about them.

except the design part I didn’t like anything about this phone..my cousis sis has it and I am writing this opinion after just seeing it..camera is average, today 2MP is min. reso..also it doesn’t feature radio and the battery constantly goes down..so I wouldn’t personally recommend it

hi zenobia! Don’t even dream of buying this phone..the sound qlty is really poor as the volume is really low during calls and music..also the battery life is poor..so just forget it..!

I am using it over a year now and I must say it has got a very sturdy slider. When I decided to buy this one, man people told me not go in for a slider as the sliders break out very easily but I had got impressed with the mirror finishing of the handset, so I decided to buy it. Well, it has been a year now and the slider has not troubled me.

Now a days, LG is trying to make their place in Indian mobile phone market through advertisements. The company has big production plant near my native place. Still I am not sure about the functionality of LG phones. So afraid to buy any LG phone!

all my previos LG phones have had horrible sound quality and the BT also didn’t work properly..so is this phone worth buying? My friend is recommending it, but I wanted a second opinion..i really like its design

is the screen scratch free? Because when I hold the phone, many a times the screen becomes greasy because of fingerprints..i keep it clean and also have a screen protector, but what about in the long run..?

I have noticed in my previous mobiles and also my friends handsets that when the screen’s large, I have seen that the keypad buttons are cramped. Even if the phone is a slider of clamshell..but with Shine..after a long time I have seen a handset that has a well spaced flat keypad..i have it for about six months and messaging is very fast on it

Saw it in an ad on the television and got it. It is great and has a great camera. My only problem is that the mirrored section in the front gets dirty easily and needs to be cleaned every now and then. The keypad is flat so you if you are not used to it then you may find it difficult.

One can find lots of such phones in the market with slider mechanism and similar features.
LG people...wake up now!
Consumers always expect something extra with such types of phone and you deliver what you desire. If you want to survive in mobile phone market give something new with upgraded features.
Yet struggling you LG people???

Some people are complaining about KE970 shine but I didn’t get their point. I got this phone from my brother who has already used it for 8 months and now I am using it for last 2 months. We both didn’t find any difficulty while using it. It is working fine for me so definitely a nice phone!

2 MP camera with plenty of sub feature, nice music player, Bluetooth, Java – WAP support, expandable memory card capacity. Doesn’t look like a full-featured phone?
I am happy with my KE970 Shine……

I have used the KE970 Shine for around 9 months. It is an awesome device. I don’t believe in pointless comments about the battery life of this phone. Just use it once; you will appreciate its abilities.

I know about the weak battery of KE970 but already I have purchased it so can’t help it out. Still want some information from the users of this phone.
I want to expand memory of my phone. Does KE970 provide support for 4GB microSD card? Getting nervous by deleting old data for coping new things in phone. ;-(
