Hi mae, here's how to block contacts on gt450:

Settings > Scroll to Call > Select OK to enter menu > Move down to "Call Reject" > Select "Call Reject List" > Enter the number of the person you want to block and confirm

I bought this phone in nov 2010, within a month had to take back for repair as was freezing all time, running up internet charges and could never end calls. Once been in for repair lasted less than 6 months before happening again, except internet has been disabled and still costing me and i have just had 2 phones bill totoally together £400. on calls which i either have no made or were not for that length oftime. Any help or suggestions greatly welcome/ Am close to throwing it at a wall and have told O2 that.

You need to do some setting. Since i am using Vodafone, i have set it accordingly, Pls follow:
1. Press 'Menu button' (Blue button)
2. Scroll right to the 3rd screen and choose Connectivity > Access points.
3. Press New access point.
4. Set Connection title to Whatever MMS.
5. Set Packet service = Bearer
6. Set No auth = Authentication
7. Set APN to mms.whatever.net.
8. Press Save.
9. Press back and select Internet profiles from the Connectivity menu.
10. Press New profile.
11. Set Service name to Vodafone MMS.
12. Set Use proxy as On
13. Set IP address as: 010.024.059.200.
14. Set Proxy server port as 80
15. Set Access point as Vodafone MMS (which you just created above).
16. Press Save.

I have following problems with GT540 model:
1) Mass transfer not happening.
2) Sending business card not happening through sms.
3) selection of multiple files for sending through bluetooth not happening.
4) Ring tone max volume is too low.

Okay the reason people are losing credit off their phone is because they have left the data roaming on... go to settings and take it off, as for the texting i have the same problmen :(

I got my LG Optimus phone about two weeks ago, and it just stopped working all together. I had it plugged in to charge last night,and it's not working now. I thought maybe it was the outlet, so I plugged it in to another outlet, and nothing. The phone is completely not working. It doesn't even show it's charging... Is there anything I can do to help my phone?

Have only been on the Android market a couple of times, have downloaded some FREE games, yet everytime I check my credit afterwards it is the same. I switch my phone on and off and £3 has gone. WHAT ON EARTH IS HAPPENING? I want another phone. This happend on the first day I had the phone. ARGHH!!!
