yup, even I have had this question in my mind. I searched the net for this and came across the site http://gsmsearch.com/faq/nokiaflasher.html [gsmsearch.com], frankly speaking I could not understand much from it.. but its something related to a driver and a utility with which we can unlock the phones. – I guess I am right.

i think you need to buy the unlocking software first (its expensive) and then you buy the unlocking cables which suit your phone usually the nokias kit fits all nokia phones and obviously you will need a PC or Laptop and after that you will be on full swing.
